MISSION STATEMENT
• To act as the grass roots in local government in a transparent manner, accessible to all.
• This council will strive to meet the needs of the residents living in our community.
• It aims to enhance the areas which we live, work, visit or invest.
• To liaise with community groups in the area for the benefit of all.
• To develop services that meet local needs.
• Maintaining cost effective service, whilst bearing in mind in preserving the traditions and character of our area.
• To give moral and financial support to local facilities and initiatives in the community.
• To be proactive in-providing new services as well as being reactive in resolving community concerns.
• To provide by way of this council’s website and social media page positive information and news of activities in
our community.
